One Beautiful World is sponsoring the following programs in South
Florida:
One Beautiful Beach Cleanup
Monthly on Saturdays.
Next cleanup:
We are moving our cleanups to Birch State Park! While most of the
cleanups will be in the late afternoon, as in the past, our first
cleanup will be a part of a larger cleanup effort, and will start at 8:00
a.m. Birch State Park is located at A1A and Sunrise Blvd. Check
back for more details and directions.
In this monthly program, children literally help make the world a
better place by cleaning up local beaches. There is free parking for
our volunteers; cleanup supplies are provided. Please wear orange!

Local Programs
Monthly Nursing Home Visit
Monthly, usually on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am

- October 9, 2010, Celebrating Columbus Day
- November 20, 2010, Celebrating Thanksgiving
In this monthly program, undertaken in conjunction with The Holiday
Project, children and their parents have the opportunity to visit the
elderly. This is a lesson in compassion for the children, and visits
from young children are so meaningful and exciting to the residents.
